GreenCircle certification provides unbiased, independent verification of recycled content in several Audubon Metals alloys.
Audubon Metals announced GreenCircle has independently verified and certified over 25 of our total recycle-based products. This initiative aligns with Audubon Metals’ mission to be the global benchmark in sustainability. This important step showcases third party certification of recycle-based products and allows us to recycle products of the past for applications of the future.
“At Audubon Metals, we are proud to be a leader in sustainability,” said Shawn Brown, Vice President of Sales at Audubon Metals. “We believe that by utilizing GreenCircle to certify our products, it will allow Audubon Metals to best support our customers’ environmental and sustainability goals both now and in the future.”
Reduce, reuse, recycle has been the business model of Audubon Metals for over 26 years. Our future initiatives will continue to focus on sustainability and carbon reduction by utilizing waste streams, repurposing of rainwater and renewable energy initiatives at both facilities.
“As one of the largest recyclers of mixed non-ferrous metals in North America, Audubon Metals raises the bar in terms of sustainability,” said Jared Brooks, Vice President of Operations at Audubon Metals. “Our environmentally-focused production process uses best practices in terms of water conservation and solar energy capture to help us produce our infinitely recyclable products. Audubon Metals products are created from recycled content.”
